1. End User License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Daily Local Marketing grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Daily Local app on devices that you own or control.
License Terms
- The app is licensed, not sold, to you
- You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the app
- You may not create derivative works from the app
- You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the app
- You may not use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Important: Any violation of these license terms may result in immediate termination of your license and access to the app.
2. User Responsibilities
As a member of the Daily Local community, you agree to:
- Post only legitimate deals from actual businesses. The Application is not a buy-and-sell platform.
- Ensure accuracy: All posted deals must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading.
- Respect content guidelines: Refrain from posting explicit content, copyrighted material without permission, or any other unlawful content.
- Maintain community standards: Respect community guidelines and refrain from abusive, harassing, or deceptive behavior.
Important: We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.
3. Business Accounts
Businesses using the Application are expected to:
Prizes & Contests
Participate in the prizes and contests system, offering valuable prizes and rewards to engage customers.
Active Posting
Actively post 2-5 deals per week to maximize engagement and visibility.
Professional Presence
Maintain a professional and community-oriented presence within the Application.
Note: Failure to meet these standards may result in reduced visibility or suspension from the Application.
4. Liability Disclaimer
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or validity of any user-uploaded deals.
- We are not responsible for any financial losses, disputes, or damages arising from interactions with deals posted on the Application.
- Any disputes between users and businesses must be resolved independently without our involvement.
5. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate any provisions of these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities
- We determine that your actions harm the integrity of the Application or community
- Any other justified reason deemed necessary by Daily Local Marketing
6. Payments and Subscriptions
Subscription Model
- The Application operates under an in-app subscription model
- Users can subscribe through Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Subscription fees are processed through the respective platforms
- Refund policies are subject to their terms
- Subscription benefits may be adjusted periodically
iOS Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your Apple ID will be charged at purchase confirmation and for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions
- You can also restore purchases from within the app
- If offered, any free trial will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends
- Pricing and available durations are displayed in-app and on the App Store product page
Android Subscriptions
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
- Your Google Play account will be charged at purchase confirmation
- You can manage subscriptions through Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions
- Refund policies follow Google Play's terms of service

7. Intellectual Property
Your Content
All content uploaded by users (including images and deal descriptions) remains the property of the user.
Usage License
By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the content for:
- Displaying deals within the Application
- External marketing, promotional materials, and showcasing Application features
We will not claim ownership over your uploaded content but reserve the right to remove or modify it for compliance purposes.
8. Privacy and Data Handling
By using the Application, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, store, and use your data.
Personal data is handled in accordance with Canadian privacy standards.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10. Changes to These Terms
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time
- Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notifications
- Continued use of the Application after updates signifies acceptance of the revised Terms
